Volunteers Needed for Shepard Garden and Art Event
I do a bit of volunteering at Shepard Garden and Art Center, and we’re in deep need of volunteers for September 30th, our a “Clean Up the Shepard” event. We will begin at 8:00a.m. and end at noon.
If you’re a SRVD member and a lover of this Mid-Century Modern building The Shepard Garden and Art Center needs you on this day.
The day should be a lot of fun for volunteers, both seasoned and new to The Shepard. If you’ve never volunteered here, this would be a great first date!
When you arrive at The Shepard check in at the front table. Groups will be organized into inside or outside groups. You get to decide where you want to be! Our Shepard President will be fixing furniture, Vice-President John Foster will be spreading mulch in the Camellia Garden and doing other landscaping, the Bonsai Club will be working in the Japanese Garden.

We will have a Board member at the check- in table ready to communicate assignments and ensure all stations and tasks are covered for this fun day.
Feel free to ask me any questions. I hope to hear from you.
